 Abstract 

The current stage in the development of public relations, characterized by an increase in the pace of development of the global economic crisis caused by the fall in world oil prices, as well as the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19, brings to the fore those social processes that may arise when the economy falls. One of these processes is the suspension of the construction of capital facilities. In this situation, the process of legitimizing objects that could not be completed is becoming especially relevant. Taking into account that the current world economic crisis is protracted, there is a need for scientific understanding and analysis of the state of legal regulation of objects of unfinished construction, identification of problems of the legal regime of these objects, as well as search for possible ways of further regulation of these legal relations. This article is devoted to a review of the legislation governing the regime of objects of construction in progress, identifying problems of public relations in this area, as well as identifying ways for further development of legislation regulating objects of unfinished construction.
